It was in 1964 that the first Jonak shoe store opened its doors in the heart of the Parisian district of St Germain des Prés. Jonak is the reference shoemaker for the chic, modern and trendy woman always looking for the latest trend. Thanks to its know-how and the quality of its shoes, the brand is rapidly becoming successful, leading to an increase in the number of points of sale. Between 2007 and 2015, its turnover simply doubled. Benefiting from a significant exposure, the company decides to look beyond the borders. Today, Jonak has 80 points of sale in France and Germany, including counters in department stores such as Galeries Lafayette and Printemps.
The opening of these numerous sales outlets was accompanied by an increase in the number of employees. "At Jonak, nothing is left behind" and even less the training of its employees, real ambassadors of the brand. "There is an essential training stage in terms of learning our sales techniques and the history of the company" reports Marcel Nakam, Jonak's general manager.

But this goes beyond that, since for us the departure process also consists of gathering feedback on the reasons for leaving, ending on good terms with the person so that he or she can co-opt new recruits from his or her network, and ensuring the transfer of knowledge," concludes the CEO.
