How to (re)motivate and (re)mobilize your teams after the crisis 🤔?

As part of our webinar series "The Liberated Collaborative Experience", Nathaniel Philippe, CEO of HeyTeam, invited Victor Carreau, CEO & Co-Founder of Comet Meetings, to lead a discussion about reboarding, and to discover Comet's "Reboot Method".

📊 While one manager in two says he does not know how to remotely or face-to-face re-motivate his teams, this unique method, designed with experts from various backgrounds, historians, neuropsychiatrists, former special forces and navy personnel - who have already experienced confinement -, management professors, and sociologists, aims to enable managers to restart the company's engine: their employees.

Why did you develop the Reboot method 👨?

📊 "1 out of 2 workers feels psychologically distressed" says Victor Carreau.

In this situation, how can we prepare for our employees' return to the company?

This particular context has made them aware of the rationale behind their concept: to strengthen social ties through workshops, to reinforce social bonds, to develop team cohesion and to reveal collective intelligence.

Comet Meetings is also one of the sectors impacted by this crisis. The company then wondered how to "cure", in their own way and with their know-how, the problems caused by this unprecedented situation.

What is the Reboot method 🔁?

3 major phases have been implemented in this method to allow the teams to regain cohesion:

  • Energy, with the objectives of preparing and formulating a relaunch project that will generate commitment, in order to create support around a common objective.
  • Momentum, the sacred time of liberated speech, essential to purge the negative and heal the ills around the sharing of experience. Composed of ice breakers, the goal is to release pressure, exchange, share one's experience. "It's a way to purge oneself", according to Victor.
  • Impulse, designed to establish efficient work axes in order to gain height and imagine the afterwards.

The goal of this workshop is to define short-, medium- and long-term objectives to set the company back on course.

Quel est l'intérêt du reboarding ?

📊 According to an HEC Junior Entreprise study, 1/3 of employees consider the support measures implemented by companies to be insufficient.

After a long absence from work, it is necessary to reacquaint the employee with the history of the company, the objectives, but also to be able to adapt his or her discourse according to each employee profile.

Idea to encourage employees to come back to the office: Organize a "Welcome Back", a breakfast together at the office, to get together in a good mood.

How to set up the reboarding ✨ ?

There are several ways to set up reboarding:

➡️ Internal communication: very regularly disseminate information on the reboarding: reopening of offices, security measures, good practices, etc... Communication is key!

➡️ Feedback: keep in touch with your employees! Ask them if they want to come back to the office or prefer to stay at home.

➡️ Gaming the return to the company: Quizzes, games, nudges (challenges), to create a link and facilitate the return to the company.

Organize welcome-coffee, games, very concrete training actions to remobilize teams. Teambuilding is a real problem!
